Benefit for Orcas Center presented by San Juan Makers Guild

The Orcas Chapter of the San Juan Makers Guild is hosting a Spring Makers Fair on Saturday, March 28 at the Orcas Center, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. The multi-media event features a juried exhibition of Makers works and includes food and beverage options – all created on Orcas by local Makers. A portion of proceeds from sales benefit the Orcas Center.

Come help showcase Orcas as a unique and creative Makers community.

If you are a Maker in the Arts, Crafts, Music, Design, Multi-media, Body Care, Food and Beverage, Medicinals, Fashion, Literary, Film, Robotics, Manufacturing, Technology or other creative industry, we welcome you to submit your work for this fun and lively juried exhibition. Visual technology works, audio, and kinetic pieces welcome. Proposed pieces must be scaled for tabletop or freestanding display. Works may be for sale or to generate orders, or may be for exhibit and demonstration only.

Jurors include: Eliza Morris, Island Thyme; Mary Anne Elgin, Orcas Artworks; Janet Gadallah, Creative Minds Cooperative; Audra Lawlor, Girl Meets Dirt; and Sharon Ho, Felt and Clay Studio.
