The Visual Arts Committee (VAC) of Orcas Center is excited to announce the next community art show: Botanicals and Blooms with Featured Artist Zoe Osenbach in the lobby.
Installation Day: Wednesday, June 25th from 10:15am-12pm
Art Opening: Friday, June 27th from 5:30-7pm
On Display: June 27th – July 22nd
Pickup: Wednesday, July 23rd from 10:15am-12pm
Explore our natural world with this community show featuring botanicals and blooms! Artists are encouraged to submit pieces that reflect personal interpretations of nature’s flora—whether realistic, abstract, or conceptual. We anticipate this being a large show, so one item per artist please!
Community shows are open to ALL island artists, beginning and experienced alike. The purpose is to showcase island art and celebrate our creative neighbors! To exhibit in a community show, an artist needs to come on the Installation Day (for this show, June 25th) with their artwork ready to be displayed or hung.
Artists are urged to attend and contribute hors d’oeuvres for the Artist Reception.
