When you come to the Bullock’s amazing plant sale this Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., stop by the little stand where our school garden keeper, Chelsea Cates, will have information on plants the kids would like to grow in the school garden.

Then shop your heart out at the Bullock’s site, choosing all the wonderful plants the Bullock’s have available for your own yard, then feel free to buy an extra plant for the school garden and leave it with Chelsea on your way out.

And you’re always invited to come by the school garden any time and see how the kids nurture and learn from what you’ve given them.

The Bullock’s are located at 890 Channel Road in Deer Harbor.  There will also be free workshops: Saturday at noon on Asexual Plant Propagation and Sunday at noon on Permaculture Plants in the Landscape.

It’s going to be a beautiful weekend for planting!
