During the week of March 20, the Building Department of San Juan County Community Development will be closed. Staff will be offsite for yearly in-service training. The Fire Marshall will also be unavailable during this time period.

During this time, there will be no inspections, plan review, intake at the counter, or availability for in-person questions related to building permits. The rest of the Community Development services will remain open and accessible to the public.

Questions specific to the building department will be answered upon staff’s return on March 27.  The department appreciates your patience as the team prepares for the implementation of the 2021 Building Codes.
