The San Juan Island Recreational Boating Safety Group, along with West Sound Marina and the Port of Friday Harbor, will be sponsoring the third annual Boat Safely Fair this next weekend. The event will be held Saturday, May 21 at the West Sound Marina and Sunday, May 22 at the Port of Friday Harbor.
Bring the family out to see local first responder boats from groups such as the United States Coast Guard, San Juan County Sheriff, Washington State Parks, and Friday Harbor Fire. There will also be free Vessel Safety Checks available and informational exhibits and demonstrations. The event will be from 10 AM to 3 PM each day.
