||| FROM JEFFRY STEELE for EMMANUEL EPISCOPAL CHURCH |||

3 PM, Sunday, August 25, Emmanuel Church Parish Hall, 218 Main St, Eastsound

Jeffry Steele performs on 8-string guitar music written by J.S. Bach originally for solo violin and cello (BWV 1001, 1004 & 1012) interspersed with Palestinian poetry read by Pedro Lopez de Victoria and Vietnamese poetry read by Monica Steele.

Selected music and poems are interpreted in Eurythmy by Andrea Preiss and in Modern Dance by Bianca Cox. Eurythmy is expressive movement developed by Rudolph and Marie Steiner for performance, Waldorf education and as a healing art.

Jeffry will offer expressive movement himself, accompanied by Monica performing a Bach/Marcelo keyboard Adagio (BWV 974). Free will offering; all proceeds to benefit UNWRA (United Nations Relief & Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East).
