Author Kerstetter visited Orcas a few times last year and became enchanted with our island. He heard through a friend that AOK (Art for Orcas Kids) was trying to raise money to support the program. AOK provides art education to our K-8 public school children by bringing artists into the schools to work and inspire them.
Kerstetter has created a remarkable fundraising opportunity for AOK: He is donating 24 copies of his book to Darvill’s and for each copy sold, he will donate $100 to AOK.
