Hello!!
I’m so glad you’re alive!!!
Now lean in really, really close…
Because I’ve got a secret to tell you.
So begins Robert Kerstetter’s enchanting tale, “The Invisible Cloud of Ouch.” This is a story for children of all ages, and beautifully reveals an important secret for navigating our complicated world.
Author Kerstetter visited Orcas a few times last year and became enchanted with our island. He heard through a friend that AOK (Art for Orcas Kids) was trying to raise money to support the program. AOK provides art education to our K-8 public school children by bringing artists into the schools to work and inspire them.
Kerstetter has created a remarkable fundraising opportunity for AOK: He is donating 24 copies of his book to Darvill’s and for each copy sold, he will donate $100 to AOK. That’s a potential gift of $2400 to the program. The cost of the book is $18.95 and Darvill’s has also generously agreed to donate 20% of the sale price to AOK. What an incredible opportunity: You buy a delightful book – and students receive quality art education.
As only 24 of this numbered, limited edition book will be on sale, be sure to visit Darvill’s soon. AOK is a program of the Orcas Island Education Foundation. For more information, visit: https://oief.org/programs/a-ok/
