Stars in Your Eyes
— Samuel Webster —
into your eyes
oceans of luminescence
l’lumière
like trails of phosphorescence
along a moonlit ocean crossing
I’m lost in the blue
and tangled you
cast adrift, it’s not so bad
our transit foretold
nudged forward by the waves
we’re going, there
not too much longer now
an unseen hand
renews a watercolor
of blue, starlit waves
we embrace, entwined within, without
and celebrate whatever may come
