Come enjoy the Annual Student Art Exhibit Opening

- Orcas Center, Eastsound, WA

Featuring Orcas Island Elementary, Middle and High School artwork created this school year. High School art student presentations start at 6:00pm.
Check out this amazing all public school event at the Orcas Center with stunning, creative, colorful work from Kindergarten through 12th grade.

- Alebrijes animal sculptures (armature, plaster, painted surface)
- Yayoi Kusama–inspired mushroom/pumpkin pattern collages
- “Golden Trees” (Tree of Life) inspired by Gustav Klimt
- One-point perspective Thanksgiving Day Parade scenes
- Cardboard shape cityscapes (chalk & oil pastel layering)
- Nature-based abstractions inspired by Emmi Whitehorse
- Symmetrical bird & flora designs after Maria Prymachenko
- Pop Art sunrise prints inspired by Roy Lichtenstein
- Relationship portraits inspired by Mary Cassatt
- Texture creatures (crayon tempera resist)
- Wood sculptures (balance and construction)
- Abstract “Circles & Dots” works inspired by Alma Thomas
