A new round of Beginning Obedience Classes for Puppies and Adult dogs will begin soon on Orcas Island. Taught by certified trainer Lesley Liddle, classes are held once a week for six weeks.
An Agility Course is also now in place for those interested in learning and participating with their dogs in this fun activity. Dogs must already have basic obedience skills. These would include a reliable Recall, a solid Stay and leash manners. Dogs must be able to wait quietly either on leash with their handlers or in a portable kennel while other dogs are working the course.
