We want our local community to know that after much consideration, the current Artisan’s Faire committee has decided to bring the annual Artisan’s Faire to an end.
The Artisan’s Faire has been a much loved part of our local holiday season for over 30 years. The pandemic brought us all to halt. Looking forward from here, the committee feels that this is the time to end rather than renew the Faire. We welcome a new event (or more!) to rise from our Orcas maker community.

BRENDA, ELIZA , and KARI, you created such a wonderful holiday community happening at the Odd Fellows Hall!
Loved the feel and flow as islanders gathered to find the perfect gift and mingle. The yummy food down in the kitchen. The local folk musicians up on the stage. The care and love you brought to all this, year after year.
In our oh so modern world, you created a a timeless holiday tradition. Deep gratitude to all of you for your remarkable contribution to our island community!
Dear Brenda, Eliza, and Kari,
Thank you for bringing the beautiful and festive Holiday Faire to the Orcas community for so many years. It was one of the highlights of the season, warm and glistening with the lovingly made variety of works of the islands’ artisans. The organization of the event was obviously done with great care by you and others who contributed and our community was the recipient of your dedication. You’ve set a high bar and I do hope that some creative folks will bring us something we can treasure in the future that features our artisans.
