Time flies when you’re having fun, we are already coming to the end of our 3rd summer series. It was a wonderful season, so many happy people, fantastic music and vibes.
We started with a little presentation of Darren’s Middle and High school students, and after our last concert on September 2nd, we will have shared 30 jazz concerts with our community. (You’ll find pictures HERE SOON.)
The Dylan Hayes Quartet was so much fun last week. Original compositions mixed with just a few fresh interpreted jazz standards. Full of energy and musical wit. Thanks everyone, for coming out, playing and enjoying! The smokey (environmental) conditions didn’t make it easy this time.
We are going to finish our season, with the Jay Thomas and Oliver Groenewald Quintet. We are also excited about the Jazz festival. Jay, Michael and I will be on the center stage on Friday evening 7 p.m. as a part of Martin Lund & The Off-Island All-Stars show.
We might have some surprising guests on our stage … it will be a weekend of jazz ;-)
And lastly, we are also celebrating our 5th anniversary, Labor Day 2018 was our first weekend, yeah!
