First prize: a 2013 Nissan Leaf e-car generously donated by Island E Cars. Second prize: “Uniquely Orcas Bag” filled with gift certificates for local restaurants and experiences, art and products by Orcas makers. Third prize: “A Day at the Beach” which includes a day at the private Willis Beach in Olga, a stand-up paddle board, a life vest, lunch, beach toys and s’more fixin’s to end the day! WOWZA!
Tickets will be sold at the museum and at the Chamber of Commerce. Only $25 gets you three chances to win one of these amazing prizes. The drawing will be held on Labor Day Weekend, Saturday, September 4th at 2 pm at the museum. Our Councilwoman, Cindy Wolf, will draw the lucky winners. The winner does not need to be present.
After a year of closed doors, we have felt a significant financial impact on the museums. We are so grateful to our generous community businesses and individuals who donated all of our prizes. In addition to the unprecedented donation by Island E Cars, there is a long list of wonderful donors and we want to recognize them all: Buck Bay Shellfish Farm, Catkin Café, Darvill’s Bookstore, Deer Harbor Charters, Doe Bay Resort and Retreat, Doe Bay Wine Co, Girl Meets Dirt, Gudgell Properties, James Hardman, Hogstone’s Wood Oven, Island Skillet, Island Thyme, Suzanne Lamb, Local Goods, Janis Jones Mattox, Mijitas Mexican Kitchen, Orcas Auto Tech, Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival, Orcas Island Golf, Orcas Island Winery, Orcas Village Store, Pawki’s For Pets, Ray’s Pharmacy, Shearwater Kayaking Tours, Voyager Restaurant, Woodside Farm. Event Sponsor: Washington Federal Bank.
