Amnesty International is a Human Rights Organization that unites research, advocacy, and action. A member funded movement of over seven million, it is independent of any religious, political, economic or ideological affiliation.
Amnesty, founded in 1961, champions a vision where every person enjoys the human rights put forth in the Declaration of Human Rights. Members work to advance and protect rights through a variety of means.
The Orcas Chapter will begin meeting Sunday January 20 at 2:30 p.m. at the Orcas Public Library. All are welcome. For more information call 360-376-2510.
