Actors Theater of Orcas Island is trying something new! Three one-act plays, written by local playwrights Michele Griskey, James Wolf, and Lin McNulty will be produced in November. Now it’s time to audition cast members.

While one play, Safe & Warm by Lin McNulty, has been pre-cast, there are still openings for I Used to Live Here by James Wolf and Lilacs by Michele Griskey. Roles call for both male and female actors (or those aspiring to be) in the age range of 20s or 30s.

The three plays share a common theme “returning home.” I Used to Live Here is a sweet drama, while Lilacs is a bit of a thriller with a ghostly twist.

Interested actors may email orcaswoman@gmail.com to receive an advance reading copy of the plays in PDF format.

No prior experience is required and Actors Theater is also looking for new faces. Come and play with us!
