Wa Fed February Art from Maggie Sharkey

Maggie Sharkey will be displaying her paintings at the Washington Federal Bank in Eastsound during the month of February.

Maggie has spent the past two years honing her technical skills and color understanding through classical training. Her show will include oils and pastel paintings of still lives and en plein air landscapes. Most pieces will be for sale.

Her focus on color and light is clearly demonstrated in the drama of her work. “I am passionate about learning and each new painting is an opportunity for discovery”, she said.
