Even if you are not a member of the Orcas Island Food Co-op you may still shop there, and 3% of any purchase you make on Thursday, April 19 will be contributed to the Orcas Island Food Bank!
The Food Bank Board and Volunteers Thank You!
At the beginning of each year, the Orcas Island Food Co-op selects an Island non-profit for each month; and on the 3rd Thursday of that month, it contributes 3% of all its gross sales to that non-profit! The Orcas Island Food Bank was selected for April 19! And, you don’t have to be a member of the co-op to participate or take advantage of the amazing organic foods and local produce the Co-op offers!
If you haven’t been in the Co-op for a while, you may be pleasantly surprised at the leaps it has made in lowering prices and making more items available to the community while still staying loyal to its dedication to support local vendors.
The Co-op also regularly contributes food items to our Food Bank. We are very grateful for our relationship with the Orcas Island Food Co-op!
