Annual Fidelis Flea Market 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at West Sound Community Hall. There will be a great variety of items for sale, hand crafted goods & baked goods. Christina Orchid will again offer a delicious lunch for hungry shoppers. Proceeds from the table rental and Christina’s lunch go toward the annual Graduation Recognition Awards the Fidelis group gives out to graduating seniors living in the West Sound area.
Writer’s Round Table: “Cutting Your Own Hair” with Jennifer Brennock, 1 to 3 p.m. at the Public Library.
Olga Potluck at the Olga Community Center at 5:30 to socialize, and then dinner is at 6:30..A special presentation will follow dinner. Dale Coburn, our Olga Postmaster,
and his wife, Peggy, will give a slide and video show of their diving trip
to Fiji. Their underwater photographs are spectacular, and not to be missed. Everyone is welcome!

Valentine’s Dance at Odd Fellows Hall “Love Makes the World Go Round.” Dance to music featuring a global music mix including Cuban, Salsa, Reggae, and Afrobeat, played by DJ’s Bruce Pavitt and Jay Kimball. The hall will be decorated in flowers and candlelight. Doors open at 8:30 pm. Admission is $10 sliding scale, or if people come with their sweetie, it’s two tickets for $15. At 9:30 pm, the Odds will be giving away two sensuous boxes of Kathryn Taylor Chocolates as door prizes. Funds raised go to help support the Odd Fellows Scholarship and Community giving fund.

Gotterdammerung The Met Live in HD Wagner’s star-crossed lovers 1 p.m. at the On Screen Center Stage, tickets $15, $11 students, ($2 off for Orcas Center Members)
The Salish Sea Early Music Festival presents “A Broken Consort,” a rare exploration of renaissance chamber music on period instruments with Jeffrey Cohan, renaissance tenor and bass transverse flutes, Shula Kleinerman on the off-the-shoulder renaissance violin and John Lenti, renaissance lute at 1:30 pm at Odd Fellows Hall at 112 Haven Road (376-5640). The suggested donation, a free will offering towards expenses, will be $15 or $20 for all concerts. Youth 18 and under are free.
