Saturday, August 17, 2-3 p.m., Otter Pond
— from Christian R. Oldham for Kwiaht —
Kwiaht herpetologist Christian Oldham will be presenting an educational workshop focused on the management of invasive American Bullfrogs on Saturday, August 17, from 2-3 p.m. The program will take place at Otter Pond and will focus on the wide-ranging negative effects invasive bullfrogs have on our natural wetlands, identification, and management options.
Kwiaht requests that all interested parties RSVP to Christian.oldham@kwiaht.org, as there is limited space available.

Wish you would do something in town about this problem – or have some educational brochures on how to get rid of them!
While this program will be taking place at Otter Pond, it is designed to be broadly applicable to any site that has a population with invasive bullfrogs. As part of the program, I will have some materials for people to take with them, which will contain much of the information covered in the program.
@Christian Oldham; please let me know, if all copies of the material aren’t given out at Otters Pond (I can’t make the event), or if they are or will be up on a website, how I can attain any materials. Thanks; Sadie
@B. Sadie Bailey –
I’ll print off an extra set for you – If you send me an email at christian.oldham@kwiaht.org, we can coordinate where/when you can pick things up. Thanks for your interest!

Ken Gibbs dropped off a materials packet at the Library for you after the program this afternoon. There will be a follow-up program, so feel free to email me and I can add you to the email list for updates.
