The interest in an Orcas Tool Library, Repair Café, community Makerspaces, and access to a commercial kitchen continue to be topics of strong community interest across different discussion boards. To help focus and centralize the conversation – and plan concrete actionable activities – we invite you to post your needs, interests and suggestions in the Makers Hub Forum.

Upcoming: plans are afoot to host informative Zoom sessions and field trips where we can learn directly from Tool Libraries on Vashon and Bainbridge, from Repair Café and Makerspace efforts on San Juan and in Western Washington, and to develop a community plan for increasing access to commercial kitchen space. These sessions will be coordinated through the Makers Hub starting in September. A free Makers Hub account provides access to forums, online classes, and field trip invitations.
