On March 11, 2023, the Orcas Island Yacht Club will host an Open House from 1-3pm at the West Sound Community Center. Immediately following the Open House, weather permitting, the club will invite attendees to climb aboard a cruise or sailboat for a spin around the waters of West Sound. Because we are so fortunate to be nestled in the middle of some of the most fabulous cruising and sailing waters in the world, we want everyone to see for themselves why our yacht club considers itself to be one of the happiest places on earth (pardon us, Disneyland)!
Hard to believe there are islanders and visitors who have yet to fully enjoy and tour our unique waters. We are inviting all our friends and neighbors to meet with our members to hear, see, and experience why we are so proud of this welcoming, inclusive, and unassuming collective of avid sailors, cruisers, kayakers and paddleboarders.
Bring your spouse, partner, neighbor, kids, and join us for a few hours of mix and mingle, followed by a trip to the club’s dock and a chance to check out what makes our boats float.
