||| FROM WASHINGTON STATE FERRIES |||

On October 1, Washington State Ferries will resume charging no-show fees to customers who do not cancel their reservations by 5 p.m. the day before travel. As a courtesy, these fees were suspended in March at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic while travel patterns were disrupted and unpredictable. To avoid incurring a no-show fee, customers should only make reservations that they plan to use. Should travel plans change, customers have until 5 p.m. the day before their scheduled sailing to cancel their reservation without a fee. Customers can cancel their reservation online or call WSF Customer Service at 206-464-6400 to make changes or cancelations.

In addition, the no-show rates going into effect on October 1 have changed. The new rates can be found online and will differ by route and vehicle size. The fee changes are part of a fare and policy package previously approved in August 2019.
