||| FROM WASHINGTON STATE FERRIES |||

We’ve been working together with regional transit agencies to support hundreds of thousands, possibly a million people, expected to converge in downtown Seattle for the Seahawks parade Wednesday.

If you are traveling on ferries tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 11:

  • Before you go, please make a plan: Travel early and review your transit options.
  • Avoid driving, if possible.
  • Buy passenger tickets online in advance of your trip. For our downtown Seattle routes, you can also buy tickets from the kiosks at the Bainbridge and Bremerton terminals to avoid long waits purchasing tickets in Seattle.
  • Expect significant wait times at our terminals, with potentially thousands of people waiting for the next sailing, especially at Colman Dock.
  • Vessels will be loaded to their maximum capacity, which is anywhere from 1,500 to 1,800 people per sailing, depending on the type of vessel. You may have to wait multiple sailings before boarding.
  • Use the WSDOT mobile app or visit the WSF website before heading to the terminal. The app features sailing schedules, live terminal conditionsrider alerts, and a real-time map.

To support increased traffic, we’re also adding crewing to many of our vessels and terminals during the day.
