To prepare for heavy interisland traffic on the last day of the San Juan County Fair, we’re limiting reservation space on the 9:50 p.m. Friday Harbor to Anacortes sailing this Sunday, August 17. We’re expecting many livestock trailers and vendors from the fair on this sailing and we’re working to accommodate as many customers as possible.
Additional steps we’re taking this weekend for the busy San Juan County Fair:
Scheduling extra crew on the Tillikum, our interisland ferry.
Arranging places to stay for standby employees to be ready to respond quickly to last-minute crew relief requests.
Staying in close contact with Paraclete Charters and air transport providers to quickly move crew between islands, if needed.
