“Truth or Consequences”: The Function of Plot in Storytelling
“With the truth so dull and depressing, the only working alternative is wild bursts of madness and filigree.” –Hunter S. Thompson
Join Jennifer Brennock for this month’s writers’ discourse:  How does plot function in storytelling? We’ll have some breathtaking lit examples, exercise quickies, creation of chaos, and sharing. Yes, we’ll do it all in two hours. Oh, yes, we will.
For writers of all genres and all levels.  Questions? Email jennifer.brennock@live.com.
Jennifer Brennock’s been trying to make Solitude like her for longer than is reasonable and should probably call off that endeavor entirely. She teaches writing at Skagit Valley College and is at work on Real, a memoir about fertility, girl fights, adoption, and single motherhood with appearances by the Velveteen Rabbit. Her debut novel is forthcoming from Seattle’s Pink Fish Press. Jennifer busks poems on her typewriter for tourists and makes books one at a time.
