William Stafford, distinguished poet and teacher wrote: “At times in my thinking I take my hands off the handlebars and see what happens. In a poem I do that all the time. I let the total momentum of the experience dictate the direction the poems goes.”

In this month’s Writer’s Roundtable, from 1 to 3 p.m.on Saturday at the Public Library, Facilitator JoEllen Moldoff says, “We will honor the freedom to write in response to whatever occurs. As always, there will be time for conversation and sharing our work with an enthusiastic group of writers. All are welcome.”
