At the next Writers Roundtable, John Friedmann will take you on an autumnly journey in time and space, reading from his own translations/renderings of Federico Garcia Lorca’s beloved “Gypsy Ballads.” A small number of these translations will be available for $10 each for those who want to follow his reading in the text.
John is well known among Orcas Island poetry lovers. He is retired from UCLA’s School of Public Policy and an Honorary Professor of the School of Community and Regional Planning at UBC Vancouver since 2001.
