Washington State Ferries’ winter schedule begins tomorrow, January 5, and is in effect through Saturday, March 28. Service between Anacortes, Friday Harbor and Sidney, B.C. will be suspended for the winter.
The Anacortes/San Juan Island routes will operate three vessels on weekends (no dedicated inter-island vessel), with four vessels in service on weekdays. Please check the online schedule or pick up the blue Winter 2020 sailing schedule #254 at the terminal or on the vessels.

Can’t we expect WSF to at least get their facts straight?
1. “Service between Anacortes, Friday Harbor and Sidney B.C. will be suspended for the winter.” No, it’s just that service AT (no “between”) Sidney, B.C. will be suspended.
2. “The Anacortes/San Juan Island routes . . .” No, it’s the Anacortes/San Juan Islands route–plural; San Juan Island is just one of four island ports.
