OPALCO Annual Meeting on board the ferry, meeting is from 9:45 to 11:15 a.m. Register at the Orcas Landing at 8 a.m. and return to Orcas at 11:40 a.m. Breakfast will be served.
Sustainable Living Fair at the Village Green in Eastsound from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by field trips on Sunday. Admission to the fair is free; field trip fees vary from free to affordable. A highlight of the Fair will be honoring this year’s recipients of the “Finnies,” the Good Steward Awards. In case of rain, the Fair will be held at the Odd Fellows Hall. Montessori School Auction and Dinner at Ship Bay Inn. Musicians Mary Giampietro and Renae Keep on ukulele and fiddle and Olga Symphony entertain, hearty hors d’oeuvres by Chefs Geddes Martin and Everett Brooks.
