Masks will be displayed throughout April at the Orcas Center, beginning with a reception and mask-making event on April 2
The show “About Face” will feature David Densmore’s mask works in the Orcas Center lobby during the month of April. All collectors and makers of masks are invited to share their treasures. Work from private collections and from the studios of Orcas Island artists will be featured in the Madrona Room.
An opening reception will be held on Friday, April 2 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Densmore will speak about his work in the lobby at 6:00 p.m., followed by masked dancers performing to live music. Bring your own mask to wear or make one while you’re at the reception. Materials will be provided.
