Whale of a Show Auditions from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. Back by popular demand, “Whale of a Show “is a lot of fun packed in to one evening. Didier Gincig directs this premier showcase of Orcas’ young talent. Elementary, middle and high school kids ages 6 – 18 years, shine on stage in a celebration of dance, music, song, poetry, skits, and improv.
Farmer’s Market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Eastsound Village Green.
“The Dream at Risk” Crossroads Lecture by Hedrick Smith at 5 p.m. at Emmanuel Episcopal Parish Hall, followed by a book signing at Darvill’s Bookstore. Tickets are $10 and available at Darvill’s Bookstore or at the door. Some complimentary tickets are available in advance at the Senior Center. Seating is limited and a full house is expected, so getting tickets in advance in strongly suggested.
