Join Dementia Friendly Orcas and the Orcas Island Library as we gather to learn from our island neighbors about how they made senior housing and assisted living a reality in their communities.
Lopez Island has Hamlet House; San Juan Island has Villages at the Harbor. Their models and approaches are very different, but both have been successful for their communities.
Anyone interested in learning what worked for them is welcome to come listen and ask questions as we explore whether assisted living on Orcas Island could be a reality.
