The Whale Museum is seeking qualified applicants for the Finance Manager position.
The Finance Manager is responsible for all financial matters for the museum, including record keeping and planning for business transactions. This position requires advanced accounting skills in order to maintain the fund accounting system. Budgetary preparation and management skills are also required.
Acute attention to detail, time management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are necessary.
Salary range is $46,800-62,400 (varies based on experience and relocation support needs as well as 3⁄4 vs. full-time employment). Benefit package includes health care (medical, vision, dental), simple IRA retirement plan and vacation (10 days annually).
