The Information Session of Weight Watchers held on January 5 resulted in Weight Watchers International approving a weekly meeting on Orcas Island.
The Territory Manager from Burlington was very impressed with the number of people who came and the excitement level. “Everyone was clapping and cheering before I even went to the front of the room,” said Leader Carol Kulminski.
The meetings will be held at the Funhouse Commons thanks to Krista Bouchey who invited Weight Watchers to use the non-profit’s facilities on Saturdays. The meeting was so well attended that a receptionist is needed to help in the meeting room.
Lisa Fry, the Territory Manager, said she can hire and train a Lifetime member even if they are 10 pounds from their goal weight. “We need to get some help, because from the enthusiasm in this room, this meeting is going to grow quickly!”
Meetings are Saturdays at 11 a.m. with weigh-ins starting a half before the meeting.

Thanks!
