Turtleback Mountain Bike Trails open 10 a.m. The Land Bank will host a Guided Trail Ride with Dan Christopherson & Kaj Enderlein to introduce riders to the route, and fundamentals of mountain bike trail etiquette and safety, starting at 10 am. Meet at the North Trailhead (Crow Valley Road). This is a 5 -10 mile ride with some steep terrain.  Riders should be well conditioned and equipped.

Writer’s Roundtable from 1 to 3 p.m. “Spring Into Poetry!” In celebration of National Poetry Month, we will devote this month’s Roundtable to appreciating poetry through imaginative reading and discussion of poetic language and form. All are welcome.

Turtleback Mountain Equestrian Trails Open The Land Bank will host a guided trail ride with Rick Karon and Alicia Miller to introduce folks to the route, fundamentals of backcountry horse etiquette, and trail riding safety, from 2-5 pm. Meet at the North Trailhead (Crow Valley Road) and be ready to ride by 2 pm. Trailer Parking space is limited. This is a 5-6 mile ride with some steep terrain. Horses and riders should be well conditioned and equipped. All riders are asked to register at the trailhead. For more information: San Juan County Land Bank 378-4402.

Free Movie Night at Doe Bay Café .This week features “The Fantastic Mr. Fox” At 7:30 p.m. Along with our regular meal selections, Sunday evenings the Doe Bay  offers half price bottles of wine and free popcorn.  As always, table reservations are highly recommended. Call 376-8059.
