Complementary Companion Pass offered
Starting on Solstice weekend and running through the Labor Day weekend (June 22 through September 3, 2012), Orcas Island shuttle bus service will be available on weekends, Friday through Monday.
Travelers can download the schedule and pick-up sites at sanjuantransit/orcas-schedule. The cost for an all-day ticket is $15, for round-trip fare to one site is $10, and for each boarding is $5. Reduced rates for children 12 and under apply; exact fare must be given.
Daily service will be also be offered during the week of July 4th. Pick-up sites include the ferry landing, Deer Harbor, Orcas Golf, Eastsound, Rosario Resort and Moran State Park.
Travelers can sign up to receive a free companion Scenic Byway Explorer Day Pass for Orcas Island and San Juan Island shuttles, a $15 value, atwww.visitsanjuans.com/scenicbyway.
