Opening Reception for Tom Hoffmann watercolors at Orcas Center from July 1 – August 2. The reception will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and will include a special presentation by the artist.
Madama Butterfly at the Orcas Center 7:30 p.m. Screening from the award-winning Metropolitan Opera series Live in HD. Tickets for “Madama Butterfly” are $15 for adults and $11 for students. $2 off for Orcas Center members and may be purchased on the website or by calling 376-2281 ext 1 or visiting the Orcas Center box office during box office hours which are Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 12- 4 pm.

Historical Day Fair on the Village Green. Celebrate at your own booth or table, Fees: $55 for San Juan County residents, $65 for out-of-county vendors. Call Irene at the OIHM office weekdays from 11a.m. to 4 p.m. at 376-4849.
Orcas Chamber 4th of July Parade Frank and Jan Loudin are Grand Marshals as Orcas Island “Celebrates the Arts” The parade begins at 11 am at the corner of N Beach Rd and Prune Alley and heads all the way down North Beach Rd to Main Street. Participants should check in on Madrona St at 10 am to find their designated spot in the parade line. All proceeds go to help pay for the July 4 fireworks in Eastsound!
