Isle Be Wed Wedding Extravaganza comes to Orcas on March 8

The “Isle Be Wed” wedding show presents an enticing opportunity to island couples and couples looking for a spring getaway to plan a destination wedding . The only wedding show in the islands is back with a new offering: a glimpse of spectacular wedding venues, including a lighthouse in prime whale watching territory. The show runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Orcas Island, March 8th, and on San Juan Island, March 9th. Orcas Island commences the festivities at the new, warmly inviting Random Howse event space in Eastsound. The next day, Friday Harbor hosts the show at the recently remodeled, historic and casually welcoming, Brickworks building.

The brainchild of local cake-maker, Felicity Milne of Feliciations, Isle Be Wed is now in its third year. The show offers an introduction to a creative cadre of over 40 island wedding professionals from musicians and photographers to floral designers and farm-to-fork restaurateurs—even an SUV limo will be on hand. A self-guided islands tour is part of the fun as attendees search out a featured farm, boat, bungalow and historic resort wedding venues—perhaps seeing eagles, whales or foxes along the way. Venues will showcase event spaces and provide details of exclusive offerings.

Spectacular. Serene. Unique. Weddings in the San Juan Islands offer nature and nurture in unforgettable settings. The Isle Be Wed show is a one-stop-shop to plan the perfect island wedding. Find out more about the show and associated specials at Facebook: www.facebook.com/IsleBeWed or www.islebewed.com.
