Chamber Music Festival Volunteers Ruthie Newman and Jean Henigson "apron up" for Festival fun

For two weeks during the summer, the Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival brings world-famous musicians to our idyllic island for a world-class event.  This year the Festival takes place August 12th through 27th.

It takes many volunteers to make the Festival the best it can be.  A wonderful group of more than 100 islanders happily help during the concerts, receptions, lunches and dinners.

Volunteers are kept busy arranging flowers, doing laundry, washing dishes, ushering, selling merchandise and serving food and beverages.  If you’d like to become part of the Festival family of volunteers, please call the OICMF office 376-6636.
