Friday, July 6 3:30 – 4 p.m., Washington Federal

— from Susan Slapin —

Susan Slapin is Artist of the Month for July at Washington Federal. She will also give a brief talk and meet visitors this Friday, July 6.

Washington Federal’s Artist of the Month is Susan Slapin. Beginning July 3rd, visit to see this colorful, textured, impressionistic exhibit, “Everything A Pastel.”

Susan is an island Visual Artist who works in a number of mediums. She shares the love of nature and color with so many who appreciate our precious environment. “I spent much of my time, as a small child in Connecticut, observing color and doing color scales in my mind. Little did I know that the love of the visual world and its hues would increasingly continue, and be reflected in paint and picture. The medium for this exhibit is soft pastels, and the pigments themselves are simply beautiful.”

On Friday, July 6, from 3:30 – 4 p.m., please join us at Washington Federal for an informal artist’s talk about the work, and say Hello. Come August, the exhibit will move to Islanders Bank, with a few changes, but still…”Everything A Pastel.” You can email Susan at susan@susanslapin.com. Instagram: susan_slapin.
