Orcas Elementary Students and the many volunteers who help them
Following announcements of Spirit Week Awards (can you guess today was “Pink Day?”) Orcas Elementary School celebrated its volunteers this morning in the school cafeteria. Student thanked the volunteers for their help in:
- Reading
- Singing
- Spinning wool
- Science studies
- Field trips
- Artwork
and other activities. The ceremony was orchestrated by the 6th grade class, with members of each class from Kindergarten on up announcing their gratitude for help from the school volunteers.
