Community volunteers are helping to get the word out to encourage all citizens and tourists to wear face masks, which is mandatory in San Juan County on June 1.
To support our beloved merchants, volunteers at St. Ode Press and the Orcas Island Community Foundation have designed signs that can be printed 8.5 x 11 or at Office Cupboard in poster size.
The designs cover a range of styles to meet the aesthetic needs of all of our stores and are completely free. They may also be shared on Social Media.

Terrific response for encouraging people to wear masks. So much more appreciated than accosting people or yelling at them. This appeals to our to our better natures. Forget Facebook shaming, which doesn’t. Applause for the volunteers who did this!!
Good work! Thank you! Difficult reading ahead which reinforces why masks will continue to be essential:
