— from Margot Shaw —

Kate Listen up boys! This Sunday, 11:30, Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Benson Hall. Three extraordinary women, Leslie Liddle, Kate Wood and Shona Aitken, will share how they connect with the animals they work with.

Leslie says: “Once a safe connection is made…..a potentially deep bond between species can occur…”

Kate explains: “To know what a horse is feeling takes the ability to really focus your attention in a very soft way.”

Shona feels: “My relationship to wild animals is shaped by respect and concern”
It is the hope that this UUF service will lead to a deeper understanding of, and communication with the many animals that surround us here on Orcas.
