Experience is not required; Curiosity is. The Earthwatch Institute is an international organization that matches scientific research with volunteers who assist the principal investigator in accomplishing the goals of the research. Earthwatch Institute has been working since 1971 all over the world mixing science with hope and progress. The projects involve branches of scientific field work such as animal behavior, archeology, anthropology, botany, geology, zoology, and other areas, including natural history and climate change.
Join Don and Sandi McVay as they describe some of their observations as volunteers on several different teams on Wednesday, April 3,2019 at 1 p.m. at the Orcas Senior Center as part of the ongoing lecture series, Meeting of the Minds.
