There are a couple of noteworthy art shows in the month of June that you might want to experience.

Woman at the Well by Jo Anderson
Jo Anderson opens at the Island Hoppin’ Brewery this Saturday, June 1st, with opening reception from 5-7 p.m. This is the first solo show for Jo on Orcas Island, and she has studied with Terry Johnson for over twenty years. The brewery serves great hand crafted beers and cider to compliment the finger food at the opening reception. Sunny weather predicted.

Barbara Gourley paining
Barbara Gourley’s work will be up for the month of June at Washington Federal during business hours (corner of Main St. and Lover’s Lane). This is also the first solo show for Barbara on Orcas.
Both shows reflect serious hard work and hard won talent!
