Island Health offers online childbirth education class series

Island Health is offering a four-week online class series designed to prepare parents-to-be for the arrival of their new baby. Classes are Tuesdays from 6:30–9:00 p.m. starting October 18 and are taught by Teri Shilling, MS, LCCE, CD(DONA), IBCLC.  Cost is $95 and is covered by Apple Health. Registration is required; call 360.299.4204 or register online at islandhealth.org/classes.

Dietary habits play an important role in your risk of developing osteoporosis. Pelvic and bladder health online class with Island Health

Join Amy Harrington, PT for a talk on bladder leakage and Urinary Incontinence. She will break down the types and causes for urinary incontinence and what physical therapists specifically trained in pelvic health look for as part of an assessment.
