||| FROM HANNAH MCNUTT for BLOODWORKS |||
What amazing weather we are having! I hope you all can get on a boat (or at least watch the boats) and enjoy what our lovely community has to offer especially this time of year.
I am reaching out today to inform you of our next blood drive on San Juan & Orcas Island. We’ll be starting off on San Juan Island on Tuesday, August 5th followed by Orcas Island on Wednesday, August 6th. It’s a busy time of year but if you can spare an hour to save a local life, it would be much appreciated. Summer time is always a challenge for our blood supply so don’t be shy to bring a buddy with you!
| SAN JUAN ISLAND BLOOD DRIVE
Mullis Community Senior Center 589 Nash St., Friday Harbor Tuesday, August 5th 9:30 am to 3:30 pm |
ORCAS ISLAND BLOOD DRIVE
Orcas Middle & High School 715 School Rd. Eastsound, WA 98245 Wednesday, August 6th 9:30 am to 3:00 pm |
If possible I would greatly appreciate your assistance in spreading the word about the upcoming blood drives. Our goal is to recruit 10 first time donors to each site! Think we can do it? Your involvement can help ensure that our community members are informed and encouraged to donate. As of now, we need 33 more donors for San Juan and 54 more for Orcas.
Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those relying on blood donations. Thank you for your attention to this vital matter. I look forward to your support.
