This Sunday evening, a special group of young people visiting our island community will share stories of the conflicts in their home countries. Students form the United World College(https://www.uwc-usa.org/mission) will share their stories.

From 6 to 8 p.m. at Emmanuel Parish Hall, share soup, bread and stories of the challenges facing youth around the world:

Malak – Palestine: Influence of US in the conflict of Palestine and own experience(s).

Ahmad – Palestine: Influence of US in the conflict of Palestine and own experience(s).

Robin– Malaysia:  Affirmative action in Malaysia, and how it is a source of ‘silent hostility’ and conflict.

Mohammad – Afghanistan: Current Situation in Afghanistan

Cheyenne – Barbados: Conflict between immigrants and locals.

Fatima – Afghanistan: Current Situation in Afghanistan

Adriana – Italy: Mafia

Julian – Colombia: Drug problem in Colombia.

Ofir – Israel: Goal of religion in the Israel and how it affects Israelis.

Cho – Hong Kong: The brief introduction to the Taiwan, Tibetan issue and Chinese’s ideas/ reaction about it.

Safa – Yemen: Factors that worsen the civil conflict currently
