The Orcas Island Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is hosting a series of services about ethical eating as a part of our theme on Community Well Being this year. Please join us at Benson Hall (Episcopal Church) beginning at 11:30 am on:
- Sunday, October 13th – “Confessions of a Reluctant Farm Wife” with Suzanne Olson
- Sunday, October 27th – “Farm to Cafeteria: Feeding our Kids for a Healthy Future” with Madie Murray

Understanding and acting on issues of social justice is an integral part of UU principles, which include:
- The inherent worth and dignity of every person;
- Justice, equity, and compassion in human relations;
- Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations;
- A free and responsible search for truth and meaning;
- The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large;
- The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all; and
- Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.
The Orcas Island UUF meets the second and fourth Sundays at 11:30 am at Benson Hall. All are welcome. Childcare is available if you let us know ahead of time. Learn more at our website, or contact Suzanne Olson via email.
