The Northwest Workforce Council Career Center will host a series of free seminars entitled Strategies of Success beginning on Mar. 9. Seminars will be held in the American Legion basement, at 150 First Street in Friday Harbor. To accommodate the ferry schedule, seminars will begin at 11:45 and end at 1:30. Bring a brown bag lunch.
Seminars:
- March 9: Career Course – an overview of free resources available to all job seekers
- March 16: Life Transitions orientation + Secrets of Successful People
- April 20: Communication ~ Body language and how you deliver your message is as important as the words you use.
- April 27: Exploring Career Interests ~ Identify your work values and find the job that is right for you.
